Our coating is rated for three years in Louisiana conditions. We apply Gyeon Pure graphene, chosen because it holds up to the specific things that destroy coatings here: sustained UV, high humidity, spring pollen, love bugs, and bird droppings that etch unprotected clear coat within days. Three years is the rated life with normal maintenance washes, not a best case.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?
Ceramic coating adds hardness to your clear coat, which provides resistance against light scratches and swirl marks. However, it will not prevent damage from rocks, keys, or significant impacts. Think of it as adding armor, not making your paint invincible.
Can ceramic coating be applied over existing paint damage?
Ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is currently in. We recommend paint correction before coating to remove existing swirl marks and scratches. Coating over damaged paint just preserves the damage.
How do I maintain a ceramic coated vehicle?
Maintenance is simple: hand wash every 2-4 weeks with pH-neutral soap (we provide a care kit), avoid automated car washes with brushes, and schedule an annual maintenance detail to inspect and boost the coating.
