Water Spot Removal

Water spots form when water containing minerals (calcium, magnesium, and other dissolved solids) evaporates on your vehicle's surface. The minerals remain behind, bonding to paint and glass.

There are three types of water spots:

• Type I: Surface deposits that sit on top of paint (easiest to remove)
• Type II: Bonded deposits that have chemically adhered to clear coat
• Type III: Etched spots where minerals have eaten into clear coat (requires polishing)

The longer water spots remain, the worse they become. Early treatment prevents permanent damage.
