How long does ceramic coating last in Louisiana?

Three years. That is the rated life of the graphene ceramic coating we install, with normal maintenance washes, in Louisiana conditions, not a best case measured somewhere with mild weather. The coating is $750 for a coupe, $800 for a sedan and $850 for an SUV or truck, applied on site at your home or office.

What shortens it here: automatic brush washes, which abrade the top of the coating; letting bird droppings, sap or love bugs sit in summer heat, which etch through it faster than through anything else; and harsh degreasers or dish soap, which strip it. What extends it: hand washing with a gentle car shampoo, rinsing contaminants off the day you see them, and a periodic maintenance wash to keep the surface slick. Parking under cover helps, but the coating exists precisely so an outdoor-parked vehicle holds up.

How to tell it is still working: water beads tightly and sheets off, dust rinses without scrubbing, and the paint feels slick after a wash. When beading flattens and the surface starts to grab, the coating is wearing, and a decontamination wash often restores it before a reapplication is needed.
