Do I have to be home during the detail?

No. Many customers leave the keys and get on with their day; we need access to the vehicle and room to work around it, and nothing else. The van carries its own purified water and generator, so we never need your outlet or your hose, and we do not need to come into the house at any point.

How it works when you are away: agree the key handover when you book, whether that is a lockbox, a neighbor, a front desk at a workplace, or leaving the vehicle unlocked in a closed garage. We message you when we arrive and again when the work is finished. Take valuables out of the cabin beforehand so nothing has to be handled. Payment is taken on completion by card, cash or digital wallet, and it can be done remotely if you are not back.

Being present is useful for two things. At the start, if the vehicle has a problem you want us to look at specifically, a stain, an odor, water spots, it helps to point it out. At the end, walking the finished vehicle together is the easiest moment to have anything adjusted while the tools are still out. If you notice something afterwards instead, our satisfaction policy gives you 48 hours to tell us and we come back to re-detail that area at no charge. Either way the choice is yours.
