How do I protect my car from pollen and industrial fallout in Gonzales?

General FAQ
The short answer
Wash it properly, decontaminate the paint, then protect it. Gonzales vehicles pick up two kinds of buildup at once: seasonal pollen from late winter into spring, and airborne fallout from the Highway 30 industrial corridor toward Geismar. Pollen is mostly a film. Fallout is tiny metallic and chemical particles that bond to the clear coat and will not rinse off, and both etch paint when they sit through summer heat and afternoon rain.
The sequence that works is a two-bucket hand wash with an iron remover and a clay bar, which is our Wash, Clay and Seal (from $145), followed by a sealant or a ceramic coating so contaminants land on a slick surface they cannot grip. Run a fingertip over the hood after a normal wash and it feels gritty; after clay it feels like glass. For a daily driver that lives outside near the corridor, a graphene ceramic coating (from $750, rated for three years) is the long-term answer, because pollen and fallout then wash off with a rinse instead of scrubbing.
Between details, rinse rather than dry-wipe a dusty car, and keep it out from under oaks and pines when you can. We come to your Gonzales driveway or Highway 30 workplace; see the Gonzales service page.
What impacts pricing?
Vehicle size, service level, contamination, pet hair, stain severity, paint condition, and protection add-ons all affect final pricing. Full prices by vehicle tier are listed on our detailing prices page, and every quote is confirmed before any work begins.
