How long does a typical detailing session take?

A full detail takes four to six hours. An interior detail on its own runs two to three hours, an exterior detail about the same, and a wash, clay and seal one and a half to two and a half. Paint correction takes four to twelve hours depending on how much swirling has to come out, and a ceramic coating takes one to three days including prep and curing. Because we work at your location, none of that is time you spend waiting at a shop.

What makes a job run long: heavy pet hair, which has to be worked out of carpet fibre rather than vacuumed; interiors with years of buildup; large trucks and three-row SUVs, which simply have more surface; and paint with deep swirls or water-spot etching that needs multi-stage correction. What makes it run short: a vehicle that is maintained regularly, which is why customers on a standing schedule get quicker visits.

We give a firm estimate when you book rather than a range you have to guess at, based on the vehicle and your photos, and we say before starting if the condition changes it. Specialty services have their own times: headlight restoration one to two hours, wheel and tire care 30 to 60 minutes, engine bay 45 to 90 minutes, water spot removal one to four hours.
