What happens if it rains on my appointment day?

We watch the forecast and contact you before the appointment rather than turning up and hoping. What happens next depends on the service. Interior-only work is not affected by rain at all, because the cabin stays closed while we work and the van brings its own power for the steam cleaner and extractor. Exterior work can go ahead under a garage, carport or covered parking space, so tell us if you have one. If the job is an exterior or full detail in an open driveway and steady rain is expected, we move it to the next convenient time at no charge.

Two services are stricter about weather. A ceramic coating needs a dry application window and then one to two dry days to cure, so it is booked around the forecast from the start and rescheduled if a front moves in. Paint correction is done under cover or in dry weather because water on the panel interferes with the polish.

A light passing shower is different from a wet day: a sealant or coating that has already cured is not harmed by rain, and a finished wash is not undone by a sprinkle.
